Daniel M. Blau Selected to Business North Carolina Legal Elite 2025

Posted in ,

Blau | Hynson is proud to announce that Daniel M. Blau has been selected to the 2025 edition of Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite in the Appellate Practice Section. This prestigious recognition is based on peer nominations from attorneys across North Carolina, making it one of the most distinguished honors in the legal profession.

The Legal Elite list is unique among attorney recognitions, as it is compiled through a statewide ballot where lawyers are asked, “If you were in need of legal services in a particular area of law, whom would you recommend?” The attorneys receiving the most votes from their peers are selected for inclusion, representing the top practitioners in their respective fields.

Dan Blau is a Board Certified Specialist in Appellate Practice and has dedicated his career to criminal appeals and post-conviction litigation. He has successfully argued cases before North Carolina’s state and federal appellate courts, securing reversals and remands in complex felony matters. With nearly two decades of experience, Dan is widely respected for his deep knowledge of constitutional and appellate law.

In addition to this latest recognition, Dan has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in both the Criminal Defense: General Practice and Appellate Practice sections since 2021. He is an AV Preeminent Peer Rated Lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards.

Blau | Hynson congratulates Dan on this well-deserved honor and his continued contributions to North Carolina’s legal community.
